The Role of Triangles in the Etheric Body of the Planet
The Outer Shell of the Vortex
According to the Tibetan the triangle is the geometric form behind all manifestation and underlines all spiritual development. It represents the divine triplicity of will, love and intelligence. Each disciple as well as any greater form of life including the planetary logos must eventually replace its etheric body of squares with a finely knit grid of triangles. By pouring powerful spiritual forces into the existing grid of squares that now surrounds the planetary etheric body and the creation of many triangles in its place these old energy patterns are dissipated and new and more powerful spiritual energies can now flow in.
It has been said that one of the main purposes of the Masters and Hierarchy at this time is to build and maintain on etheric levels a grid of lighted triangular substance that surrounds the earth with a protective envelope.

negative and undesirable forces.
By drawing lines of lighted substance diagonally across
these open squares, evil is sealed from entry.

only be destroyed by the light within.

By surrounding the planet with buddhic light and magnetism the Hierarchy prevents the influx from cosmic evil or decaying constellations on etheric levels from periodically overflowing onto the planet. The only cure for "magnetic corruption" according to DK is "purification by occult fire". When the idea of "sealing the door where evil dwells" is linked with all of the information given here on the vacuum, vortex, and the triangles, a key hint will be provided for advanced individual and group work.
The next illustration links the science of triangles to the vortex and how these vortices are built or positioned upon the outer surface of any sphere. It must be taken into consideration that the most esoteric definition of the nadis that make up the lattice work of the etheric body is "tubular vessel".
Spheres or vortices as we have demonstrated have entrances and exits on multiple levels and that these spherical lives are intimately communicating amongst themselves when tightly connected with each other.
Geometric symbols are the keys that must be studied first on the physical plane with the eye and then transferred later up onto the high mental plane. It is only from the high mental plane that we are in a position to begin to unlock the secrets of those lives who are basically "formless" as we understand the term. "God geometrizes", but in His highest subplanes is pure and undifferentiated occult fire.
For a symbol to have true occult power it must be constructed from several forces that when seen in their entirety become a temporary bridge in which the student uses his creative imagination to duplicate on the high mental plane. I say temporary because each creative symbol used must in time give way to higher and more spiritualized symbols. This revelation of one group of symbols that lead to another eventually culminates in the perception of pure sound or light at it emanates from the higher subplanes of each ray life.
God geometrizes we are told, but the geometry changes depending upon our level of perception and ever moves towards greater syntheses and simplicity of sound and light. A mature symbol is like a ladder or bridge. As we unlock its secrets and ascend its heights each stage reveals a more comprehensive view of the spiritual path. Geometric symbols found or created on the high mental plane can be powerful agents for transition since one part of the symbol is created through the second aspect of deity, the consciousness-light aspect, and the other, the third aspect of deity which is the more geometric. This is how the second and third aspects of deity working together create the necessary bridges that lead to a progressively wider and more dynamic comprehension and eventual liberation. It is important for the student to understand that the seven rays or the three primary aspects of deity each contribute their unique qualities that make up one living organism. The student should not keep all these composite principles we have just outlined separated in the lower concrete mind, but try to grasp them in their intuitive wholeness.

Much of how the astral-buddhic and lower-higher mind work in conjunction with one another has been laid out for the student in the six stages of building the antahkarana bridge. Every visualized image used for alignment must contain both an emotional and mental component for the latter to be magnetically attractive to their higher correspondences which are the buddhic plane of love and the high abstract plane of intelligence. The astral-buddhic expresses the second aspect of deity and lower-higher mind the third aspect of deity.

HYPERSPHERE

The image on the left (which was also displayed in Dynamic Symbols 1) clearly indicates why the symbology of a serpent biting or swallowing its own tail is in actuality the toroid design in motion with its magnetic rotary bands created by the vortex-vacuum. This symbol is one of the key signatures of God's inner bodies and should be used by all advanced occult groups in some form for meditation purposes. This image through rotary and spiral motion gives the appearance of an organism consuming or devouring itself.
Fohat enters the most northern point as Will or trumpeted sound, or one of the seven rays as an enunciated mantric sound, which forces the highly malleable feminine devic substance outward and into a progressive series of conical shells composed of outgoing magnetic currents. The walls are the crucible or chalice of the third logos within which the second aspect of deity can mature and grow. This whole process is carried forward by the science of laya yoga and the use of mantras on a scale too vast for easy comprehension. The science of laya yoga will be taken up elsewhere.
This image above of the blue hyposphere and its two vortex spirals helps simplify this highly arcane process. The spirillae or various rotating bands that make up the divine anu or ultimate atom with which the esotericist is familiar become numerically less the more advanced the organism.
It is the inherent purpose and power of the will to be constantly synthesizing the lesser into the greater. This process is initiated by driving devic substance into new and more advanced forms, or when their usefulness has expired, breaking them down into their constituent parts and withdrawing the inherent life.
"One of the fundamental concepts which is grasped by all magical workers, is that both will and desire are force emanations. They differ in quality and vibration, but are essentially currents of energy, one forming an initial vortex or center of activity, being centrifugal, and the other being centripetal, and the main factor in the accretion of matter into a form around the central vortex. (CF:1017)
The dual vortex design is essentially two rotating spirals of energy, one found at the most northern point where fohatic will enters, and the other, an equal and opposite vortex, as it exits at its most southern point. The northern vortex rotates down and the southern one rotates up. In their place of meeting a vacuum is created. It is here where the walls of the sensitive devic substance of the 2nd and 3rd aspects of the logos are driven outward through centrifugal and cyclic-spiral motion and a vacuum is created. By law spiritual energy rushes in to fill the void. This process will one day be recognized as an aspect of the new Aquarian super-human physics and can allow the disciple to built using color, sound and motion the same way the logos does in His high estate.
This dual or duplex rotary motion allows any organism to penetrate up into the next level of the initiatory experience and to simultaneously draw down new revelatory force. It literally drills its way through obstructing walls of energy connecting the higher with the lower from both sides of the spiritual spectrum.
This is further symbolized, as we shall show in our divine geometry section, by man's dual nature, his upper triad, and the lower triad. This idea can be represented as a tetrahedron or six-pointed star where two triangles come together and merge.

The next three Flash images show the single vortex and double vortex-toroid from various angles when mouse activated. The animations which follow are studies in spherical or vortical motion.
The third and fourth animations that follow present spiral corkscrew motion. The vortex is the result of two spirals, the higher spiral going down, and the lower one going up. Man, until he breaks free from the hold that the lower devic and elemental kingdoms have over him, is caught between these two diametric opposing powers. Eventually student will incorporate these types of animated images into their meditation and alignments. First by physically viewing them and later taking those images onto the high mental plane where true white magic begins its real and more advanced work.
The animation below gives an idea of spiral corkscrew motion. The vortex is the result of two spirals, the involutionary spiral going up, and the evolutionary one coming down.
Spiritual energy and force always remain illusive to those polarized in the personality but clearly conform to distinct patterns and prototypes when seen by the inner eye of the initiate. In the historical unfolding of religious traditions, processes of institutionalization and secularization eventually veil the power of the original revelation. Each generation must have a new interpretation of these same hidden truths by those who have had direct experience and irrefutable revelations. The following is a question the Tibetan poses to the student of the ageless wisdom that is rarely considered:
"The Path leading to omniscience is one of pitfalls and of difficulties. Has it ever struck you what complexities the Great Ones face as They deal with a constantly changing humanity? Principles remain eternally the same. But techniques and methods of presentation alter with each cycle, because the receiving equipment of man steadily alters and improves." (DNA1:347)
Let us explore a few of these earlier historical revelations along the lines of western mysticism that have remained largely an enigma.

What is the true symbology behind "the rod of initiation", "Jacobs ladder", the "fiery serpent set upon a pole", or the "burning bush of Moses" as he returned from Mount Sinai to now lawfully lead the Israelites out of their thralldom of material darkness, empowered by his initiation experience? The inner spiritual vortex, torid and vacuum.
When one or other of the seven types and qualities of fohat impact the material planes some type of revelation occurs to those sensitive and responsive to its dynamic presence. During this initial impact of fohatic will upon the third aspect of deity a great burning and conflagration of fire and light are produced out of occult friction. The heavier devic substance goes radiatory and through rotary and cyclic-spiral motion, rotate out creating the familiar walls or sheathes of the sphere or toroid.
The fiery Merkabah doctrine of early Jewish mysticism and scriptural references to flaming wheels, angelic spheres and multiple intelligences encircled by conical flames may be seen also as examples of the vortex and toroid designs of energy and force.
Each generation of initiates and seers will describe these same revelations through their own historical cultural contexts and religious backgrounds. There may be little difference between the chakra system of the eastern yogi and the fiery wheels of the western mystic. They both conform to a spherical and toroid design.

The vortex-spherical-vacuum is also "the stairway into the heavenly realms" so often referred to by numerous poets, prophets and yogis but because of its obscure nature is difficult to share through the spoken or written world. The prophet Ezekiel reflected these inner truths of which we are now outlining in this way.
"This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: . . .Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel . . .wheels within wheels, that contained an all seeing eye" (Ezekiel 1:16 NIV) (See also: Dynamic Symbols, p. 5, chart 6)
You will note how two out of the governing planets of the decanates in the case of the ordinary wheel serve to enhance the planetary rulers of the sign, Gemini with Saturn offering at a certain fairly advanced stage the opposition needed to bring about a basic revolution. Note this phrasing. The entire question of the revolving wheel with its dual action and its dual effect upon consciousness (and therefore the whole problem of the three decans and their rulers in each sign of the zodiac) must remain a difficult and abstruse problem until such time as astrologers have developed a four-dimensional consciousness and know the true meaning of the Biblical phrase: the "wheel turning upon itself." In reality, the wheel does not turn like a wheel in a car either forward or the reverse. It turns every way and both ways simultaneously. This fact is, as yet, an impossible one for the human consciousness to grasp. The complexity involved in the progress through the decans - conditioning also the rulers - is to be found to be based upon this multiple action of the wheel. The wheel, therefore, moves not only clockwise, but both ways at once and also at right angles to itself. (EA:369-370)
We hear Jesus Christ commentating on Moses via John when he says:
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up." (John 3:14-15)
All world saviors must eventually face the awesome kundalini fire that literally lifts them from soul consciousness up into full triadic Identification. The kundalini fire that spirals up the etheric spine must have a spherical container in which it can house the lightning bolt of pure fohatic will that connects the highest head center with the lowest base center.
This connection between these two opposite electrical poles can only be achieved by the creation through meditation of a chalice-vortex-spherical-container within which these higher forces can momentarily flash forth and enter. Energy we know at subatomic levels in the study of quantum physics and string theory travels along sinuous undulating waves that are serpentine and are all connected by interlacing and overlapping toroidal electrical and magnetic bands.

Penetrating the ring-pass-pass-not.
Our recent progress and discoveries into quantum mechanics may quickly change all of these historical and religious discrepancies by the recognition of an impersonal set of principals and laws that are exactly the same regardless of ones cultural background or upbringing. The new world religion outlined by the hierarchy is demanding uniformity of approach to deity and paradoxically it may be conventional science that supplies some of the basic framework for a new holistic and esoteric approach to the subject. DK has clearly stated that modern science and its continuous penetration into the unknown has done more for the destruction of a materialistic view of the cosmos and replaced it with the understanding that "all is energy" more then any other factor. The energies that make up the universe must be understood as something more then just vague and intangible forces, but mentally grasped through deep meditation and spiritual alignment as living vibrant lives that interpenetrate all things. More on this subject on our closing chapter of this commentary that will parallel the ancient science of super-human physics of the yogi and the modern quantum physics of the scientist.
The image on the right, which is quite old, clearly shows a person pushing his perceptions or awareness beyond the confines of his known world. What is the first thing that he views upon penetrating behind the veil of maya and illusion? — wheels within wheels and various spheres and conical shells of energy all rotating to the will and impulse of those divine forces of which he knows very little. The image suggest that the initiate is attempting to unlock the secret of the outer constellations and star systems. The Tibetan in Esoteric Astrology outlines what needs to be recognized by the initiate when his perceptions begin to penetrate beyond our our solar system.
"It should be noted here, however, that all the energies - zodiacal, systemic, and
planetary - have a definite effect upon all the lives in all forms in all kingdoms of
nature. Nothing can escape these radiatory and magnetic influences. The goal of evolution
for humanity is to become consciously and livingly aware of the nature of these energies
and begin to know them and to use them. This is the field of occultism as the Hierarchy
has always told men. It might be stated that the disciple has to become consciously aware
of the planetary influences and begin to use them for the carrying out of soul purpose.
The initiate has to be aware of the zodiacal influences which emanate from outside of the
solar system altogether. These can be recognized as
- A vibration,
registered in one or other of the seven centers.
- A revelation
of a particular type of light, conveying a specific color to the initiate.
- A peculiar
note.
- A
directional sound.
The whole
story of the zodiac can be picturesquely yet accurately summed up in the following
statement: There are three books which the three types of human beings study and from
which they learn:
- The Book of Life - Initiates - the 12 constellations.
- The Book of Wisdom - Disciples - the 12 planets.
- The Book of Form or of Manifestation - Humanity - the 12 Creative Hierarchies.
In summation, it might be said that:
- The zodiacal signs affect primarily the man who lives below the diaphragm. This is the
ordinary average man. These signs thus condition four of the centers:
- The base of the spine.
- The sacral center.
- The solar plexus center.
- The spleen.
- The inner group of solar systems, working in conjunction with the zodiacal signs, affect
primarily those who live above the diaphragm. They, therefore, condition:
- The heart center.
- The throat center.
- The ajna center.
- The head center.
- Three of the energies work through the head center but only after the third initiation."
